The Frenzy Part is Definitely True
I just put in a (favorable) review for the 3-1/2 oz packet but noticed there that many reviewers were noting the price as a negative.
This big 30 oz container is the way to go if you can afford the higher initial price. Per ounce it's a much better deal, and those dried mealworms don't go stale.
I feed my four hens about half a cup every day mixed in with their scratch grain. Boy do they LOVE them - and one of my dogs loves them too.
In their excitement they of course scatter grain & mealworms all over, and Paco's there, outside the run waiting for a stray treat to come his way.
Feeding these mealworms is also a great way to make friends with your flock.
